Avengers 2 Casts James Spader as Ultron
Lea Michele It's astonishing that James Spader has never played a true supervillain before. The actor comes at all of his roles — comedy and drama alike — with such a chilling veneer that he could quite feasibly manage what might be the toughest task braved by a superhero movie: a legitimately threatening bad guy.

It comes as quite the surprise to hear — so late in the casting game — The Playlist's reports that superstar Matt Damon would be signing onto Christopher Nolan's under-wraps science fiction film Interstellar. John Stamos Celebrates Turning 50 With A Full House Reunion
Vin by: Abbey Stone | Thursday, August 29, 2013
Holy crap, you guys. I don't know how it happened or why this is real life but, somehow, John Stamos has turned 50 years old. The VMAs Killed BK
Lea Michele The theaters in Times Square didn't always show musicals based on cartoons. And the East Village sheltered generations of artists before New York University swallowed it whole. iPad Giveaway by: Michael Arbeiter | Tuesday, August 28, 2013
You know what America loves about Matthew McConaughey? The actor gets older (and better), and the jokes about him stay the same. For the duration of his profitable career as a frontman, McConaughey has earned guff from critics and filmgoers about his lackluster skill set, even worse judgment in roles, and proclivity for excessive shirtlessness.

Carrie Trailer by: Michael Arbeiter  | Tuesday, August 28, 2013
The very best thing a horror movie can do is get you so invested in the characters that it's the very idea that they are in danger that troubles you. Not the frequency of gore or the creepiness of the killers at large. And for a while, there, that's what You're Next seems to be up to: really immersing you in the family Davison.
