TV News Obama Burns Trump, Spreads Pro-Choice Message on 'The Tonight Show'

Obama Burns Trump, Spreads Pro-Choice Message on 'The Tonight Show'

By:

Earlier this month, President Barack Obama proved that he and Jon Stewart are the perfect comic duo when they fostered a back-and-forth banter on The Daily Show with a velocity that'd impress even the cast of Happy Endings. But Obama's wit isn't any less on point in the absence of Stewart, as the head of state made evident on his Wednesday night visit to The Tonight Show. Obama returned to the NBC set just in time to discuss the presidential debates, the forthcoming election, and (most importantly, of course), the great Donald Trump.
As the public is well-aware, Trump — an outspoken opponent of the president — promised on Tuesday to reveal a "huge" Obama-related secret, which turned out to be the entrepreneur's pledge to donate $5 million to charity of the Commander-in-Chief's choice in the event that he publicize his college records and application and passport records and application. When asked by Leno to identify the root of this enmity that has existed between Trump and himself, Obama offered the crowd-pleasing joke, "This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya."
The pres also took a few jabs at his own debate performance (noting his subpar turn in the first round), his home life (admitting, "With Michelle, I just concede every point," and that he struggles with daughter Malia's high school math assignments), and one at his opponent in the race for the White House, former Gov. Mitt Romney. During a segment in which Leno asked the president questions written by audience members, one such (particularly facetious) message queried Obama about how to cure the "disease" of "Romnesia." Obama laughingly replied, "Obamacare covers preexisting conditions," earning another big cheer from the crowd.
But the applause received by any of the POTUS' gags was nothing compared to the response he got following his statement regarding the issue of abortion. The president discussed a good deal of political issues with sincerity, ranging from the economy to various elements of foreign policy, but none elicited quite the cheers that his remarks on a woman's right to choose did. Leno read Obama a quotation from senatorial candidate Richard Murdock, which read, "Life is a gift from God. Even if life begins in the horrible situation of rape, it is something God intended to happen." To this, Obama declared definitively, "This is exactly why we don't want a bunch of politicians — mostly male — making decisions about women's health care decisions," insisting that "women are capable" of maintaining responsibility for their own bodies and lives. Obama added, "For politicians to want to intrude in this stuff, often without any information, is a huge problem."

Darkness divides, susan illene, A sensor Novel

Darkness Divides: Book 3 (Sensor Series)

Book three of The Sensor Series.

The blood and violence never ends—it only stops long enough for Melena to relax her guard, to think she might actually survive. For the past year, she’s worked hard to pick up the pieces of her life. The supernaturals in Fairbanks are tolerating her, the angels are shielding her from her enemies, and she’s getting stronger as her body changes into…something else. If not for the man she loves being locked away in Purgatory, she might even believe she could be happy. But for a sensor, peace is always an illusion. A magical explosion is about to rock the earth between Alaska and parts of Canada, bringing with it a new wave of fear. People she cares about will be hurt and she’s going to need answers. Are her enemies trying to flush her out of hiding or are they up to something even more sinister? It will take all of her newfound strength and the help of every ally she’s got to put a stop to their plans.

BOHEMIAN GROVE – CULT OF CONSPIRACY

Summary:CosmicBliss
Nowhere in the world do more billionaires and power brokers get together than at the Bohemian Grove. For two-and-a-half weeks every July, two thousand of the top high rollers in business and government attend the Bohemian Club’s summer encampment. George Bush Sr. & Jr., Gerald Ford, Colin Powell, Henry Kissinger, Newt Gingrich, Caspar Weinberger, Dick Chaney, Bill Clinton and a large proportion of the directors and chief executive officers of the fortune 1000 companies mingle with other top governmental officials (current or former) and members of important policy councils or major foundations. All of them are very, very rich. Daniel Ludwig, the richest private citizen on earth, is a Bohemian. Queen Elisabeth visited the Grove in 1983. Former Chancellor of Germany Helmut Schmidt writes about the place and how much he likes the Druid Rites there in his autobiography, Men and Powers. Past participants have included every Republican president since Calvin Coolidge, and before him, Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft. Eisenhower, Nixon, Nelson Goldwater, Nelson Rockefeller, Reagan, Bush Sr. & Jr., all crafted their future presidential campaigns within the secret and cozy confines of the Grove. Conspiracy nuts think the Bohemian club meets each summer to plot to take over the world. Get real. These guys ALREADY run the world. Prominent members of the Bohemian Club have run America’s private run-for-profit Federal Reserve Bank from its very inception in 1913. Alan Greenspan was seen at the Bohemian Grove only a month before he was appointed chairman of the Federal Reserve. The Manhattan Project was planned, instituted and operated out of the Bohemian Grove. Much of America’s domestic and foreign policy, weapons systems, technology, and even wars are being orchestrated in secrecy at the Bohemian Grove. This has taken place quietly over the past 130 years. The Grove regularly perform bizarre ceremonies connected to ancient Babylon rites such as the “Cremation of Care”-ritual. Yes, they include openly performed mock human sacrifices. Eyewitnesses have gone public about actual, real human sacrifices as well. Throughout history, elites and rulers have been obsessed with the occult. No media are allowed in, either as members or as guests. Today, you wont even find the Grove listed on most public maps. Important public-policy decisions are being made here in secret. The men who meet here deep in the woods are involved in a vast conspiracy that has but one ultimate aim: global domination. Major military contractors, oil companies, banks (including Federal Reserve), utilities, foundations, museums, universities and national media organizations have high-ranking officials as club members or guests.
When powerful people work together, they become even more powerful. This group determines whether prices rise or fall (by their control of the banking system, money supply, and stock market) and they make money whichever way market fluctuates. They determine what our rights are and which laws have effect, by appointing judges. They decide who are our highest officials shall be by consensus among themselves, and then sell candidates to us through the media that they own. The public will not see the effects of such decisions until weeks, months, years, or decades later. Illuminati Freemasons manipulated and won the War of Independence in 1776 and then took control of the United States of America. This secret brotherhood, today manifested in such organisations as the Bohemian Grove, Skull & Bones society, Bilderberger Group, Black Lodges of Freemasonry and Knights of Malta, has never conceded that control to this day. Note the design for the Great Seal of the United States, which contains symbols dating to ancient Egypt and beyond, including the pyramid and all-seeing eye of Horus. Above and below this symbol are two Latin phrases, Annuit Coeptis and Novus Ordo Seclorum. These translate as “Announcing the birth, creation, or arrival” of “A secular New Order of Ages”. In other words, they were announcing the creation of the New World Order. The founding of the United States was a massive step forward in the plan for centralized global power. Today, this Great Seal can be found on the back of every US dollar bill, which seems logical, given that the Secret Brotherhood controls the American economy. The decision to put the pyramid and Novus Ordo Seclorum symbol on the dollar was made by the 33rd degree Freemason, Franklin D Roosevelt, in 1935, with the full support and encouragement of his vice president, Henry Wallace, another 33rd degree Mason. The American flag was also designed to reflect Brotherhood symbolism, and the Statue of Liberty was given to American Freemasons by the French Grand Orient (Illuminati) Masonic Order. A group of rich and powerful men are conspiring to control the world. And that’s no “conspiracy theory”—it’s conspiracy fact.

MANGA - SHORT COMICS FROM JAPAN

Review:arthurchappell
ABSTRACT – TAKEKAWA (Editor) MANGA – SHORT COMICS FROM JAPAN. 2001 The Japan Foundation. This booklet was produced for a travelling art exhibition on Japanese Manga comic book work, which I happened to visit when it came to the Cornerhouse Gallery in Manchester, England, where I live. The exhibition and accompanying book were designed to show just how little of the art form actually deals with science fiction themes. Much Manga (the still life version of Anime moving picture cartoons). The booklet provides a series of essays on the history and nature of Manga, before taking a potted history of various artists one by one, giving a biography and illustrated examples of their work. In Tiger Tateishi’s work, a mystic meditates on each of the world’s religions, shown as thought bubbles over his head, but he finds no satisfaction in any and goes away contemplating evil as the shards of his visions lie broken on the floor behind him – have the religions failed him? Is he not worthy of any f them? Will he destroy the belief systems? Is he fundamentally bad or driven to it? The ambiguity of the silent comic speaks volumes. There are a few excellent examples of fantasy Manga included too, notably from Tanaka Masashi, who presents a baby dinosaur egg accidentally getting mixed up with a bird’s eggs in a tree=top nest. The dinosaur baby hatches and the birds bring it up, and he rewards them by proving to be more than a match for a cat that dares to attack the nest. Such simple, lyrical Zen like touches abound in comics with have a much more pedestrian pace than those of the West, but give a sense of care and attention to each and every panel of artwork. The book, like the exhibition that inspired it, is highly inspirational in more ways than one. Comics have truly come of age.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Review:VernonTepes

The first three X-Men movies all had my blood pumping but for regrettably very different reasons. The first movie was extremely well crafted and breathed real life into the genre in the days before these films were two-a-penny. The second film, imaginatively named X-2, was, in my opinion, one of the most interesting, emotionally charged comic book movies of all time and I waited with real anticipation for the third installment, Last Stand, which proceeded to destroy all expectations, hope and will to see another second of this movie franchise.

What I'm trying to say is, I've had the rough and the smooth with these movies over the years but to be honest wasn't expecting much from Wolverine going in. Having said that, there was a lot to like in this movie. Hugh Jackman, let's face it, was pretty much born for this role and is by now so at ease wandering around with CG blades stuck between his knuckles that it's hard to seriously criticize his performance. A rather more pleasant surprise were some of the ancillary characters that made their way into the plot, such as Liev Schreiber's portrayal of Victor Creed, a surprisingly able yin to Hugh Jackman's yang that at some points single-handedly holds the plot together. I was also in no way dissatisfied by Lynn Collin's work as the love-interest Kayla Silverfox, who could easily have slipped through the film like sand without a confident performance.

The plot is pretty much all over the place throughout. For a film largely about the appreciation of difference against the persecution of the Other, there is a surprising willingness to track through an almost freak-show-like pantheon of scenarios, locations, emotional perspectives and characters, but thankfully the film manages to avoid going anywhere near as wrong as Last Stand. Sure, it's like going around the world in 80 days a little, but the plot does at least hold together while hitting some of the sci-fi staples of revenge, man over animal, betrayal and brotherhood for a brand new cutting.

My major criticism, plot cohesion aside, is the CGI, and in an X-Men movie there is precious little excuse for that. Some sequences are breath-taking, but are completely ruined by other truly appalling effects. I don't want to place CGI above plot, but the truth is, as many experts in the field have said often, really good special effects are the effects you don't even realize you're seeing because you are too immersed in the plot. Some of the early visuals of Wolverine's blades are worse than they were in the original X Men movie, which is a failing I really don't understand. In one particularly poor sequence CG soil is shot 6 feet in the air by CG bullets firing from a CG helicopter and the whole thing is so unreal that you are immediately hauled out of the action back into the cinema. My only question is why? Was setting off real charges to make real soil fly around too difficult? The trouble, of course, is that suddenly whatever power the plot had over you is gone, leaving the building as fast as its legs can carry it.

But I can't leave this review on that note, because it would be so terribly unfair to the cast. The plot is off the rails, but it's paradoxically gripping because you have genuine uncertainty as to where it is going. The characters are strange and on the face of things quite archetypal, but the acting really makes it worth a watch even if it will never be "the best comic book movie ever". Plus. with a film like this, chances are you already know if it's the sort of film you are going to want to watch. Even if you haven't seen the first three outings of the X-Men on the big screen it is unlikely you have never seen a comic book movie at all and made some sort of judgement as to the genre as a whole. That's the problem and the great strength of movies like Wolverine: you know pretty much what you'll get going in. It's a loose but inventive plot with some interesting action sequences, some emotional highs and a pantheon of characters, scenarios and combat sequences. And for all it's faults, it is entertaining. So against my better judgement, here's my recommendation: try to find time to see this one before it goes off circuit because if nothing else it is at least a break from all the stresses of the world and it won't be any less (or more) than you anticipate.

Even if you already own issues 141-142 in a Masterworks or Omnibus collection, it is still worth it to have this in your collection. The inclusion of Days of Future Present is vital to the storyline, and the inclusion of the 3 Excalibur issues even moreso! The Excalibur issues in particular are extremely informative and give tons of backstory that really help bring the grandiosity of this classic arc into sharp focus. Then we get Wolverine: Days Of Future Past. This is a nice little bonus tale that covers some of the details that occured leading up to the original story from UXM 141-142. Super Heroes, Fashion and Ethnocentrism: Batman Case

Review:PASCARELLI

Batman does not have superpowers, neither he will have like Spider Man and Super Man. Batman is the unique heir of a fortune which made him compensate the absence of physical skills investing in technology.

The loss of his parents did not contribute to a gradual psychic growth, but instead in the search for justice confused with revenge.

The high technology is in Bat-Cave, in Bat-Car and in Bat-Clothes that protect him from fire, from falling and permit him to jump off great heights and even to fly! There is also a Bat-Belt, possibly inspired on the old Swiss penknife Victorinox.

Batman’s first appearance was on May, 1939 on the North American magazine Detective Comics.

The World War II that lasted from September 1st, 1939 to September 2nd, 1945 improved and transformed the character Batman and created other superheroes that served to the ethnocentric ideology of the North American people.

USA dominated the technology, conquered the technology and prevailed the rules of fashion. The same occurred to the British who for centuries dominated the naval technology and this is currently happening to the USA that is dominating the atomic technology.

Both American and British societies are heir cultures from their own that do not see “the other for the other”, but judge the rest of the cultures by their proximity or distance from their way of life – The American Life.

Abstracting from the cultural relativism, it imposes a globalized world through an aggressive marketing and a savage warlike capitalism with their ethnocentric values.

The ethical position implies on the ability to see “the other for the other” and not to judge the other from your cultural lens. It is a difficult culture relativism ability which opposes to all ideological impregnation.

According to Guimarães Rocha: “Ethnocentrism is a vision of the world where our own group is deemed as center of everything and all the others are thought and felt through our values, our models, our definitions of what is the existence. In the intellectual plan, it may be seen as the difficulty to think the difference. In the affective plan, it may be seen as feelings of strangeness, fear, hostility etc.” (“O que é etnocentrismo”, São Paulo: Brasiliense, 1999. Col. Primeiros Passos.)

Batman brings in his clothes all warlike technology that symbolically reflects the American culture that is ethnocentric and imposes to the rest of the world their democratic model through war. The U.S.A. which is the greatest world-wide economic power and has won the greatest amount of Nobel prizes is also the one with the biggest population in jail and of inmates in psychiatric hospitals. Why? Batman is sad, has a vampire aspect, affectively gotten dull, unpredictable and violent, despite all the technology he carries in his indestructible clothes. Gotham City is dark and underground, a sick city that remembers Chicago of the thirties, dominated by the Italian Mafia. Gotham City needs to have heroes to live without fear. But the terror is always latent because from the culverts and openings of Gotham City it appears enemies with flabbergasting technological powers: Joker, Cluemaster, Penguin and Mr. Freeze – all of them as psychotic and powerless as Batman.

Batman’s enemies carry in their clothes the evil that characterizes them. The hero’s ethnocentrism is the driving force to destroy them since they are different and incorrigible and cannot live in Gotham City pacifically. Both in Batman’s 60’s and 70’s series and in the films the hero transforms himself with elegant bat clothes while his enemies wear eccentric clothes that make them look ridiculous. That is the way the ethnocentric culture sees and judges the others: in a bizarre way, savage and always kitsch. The mission of this culture is to convert the others or, if impossible to convert, destroy them through the fine methods of the powerful warlike technology that it possesses – the ethnocide.

A zombie corners Gerry inside the vault, prompting him to inject himself with an unknown bacteria and open the vault, thereby testing his theory. The zombie ignores him, as do those he encounters while returning to the main wing. Everybody rejoices at Gerry's success.

And at last Gerry was a lone hero and his family are reunited together.

On the budget of $125 million World War Z is simply awesome movie to watch and It's one of my best movie of 2013

Richard Ii "William Shakespeare"

Review:rizwantata
Richard II,one of the great  historical tragedy written by William Shakespeare c. 1595.it ia also a difficult play. it hero not easily fit in the usual tragic pattern.
He lacks the standard attribute of a historical tragedy  hero It is a study of a weak but sympathetic monarch who loses his kingdom to his forceful successor, Henry IV.
Thomas Mowbray, Duke of Norfolk, defends himself against Henry Bolingbroke's (the future Henry IV) charges of treason by calling for trial by combat. Fearing Bolingbroke's popularity, King Richard banishes them both, then departs for Ireland to quell a rebellion. Short of funds, the king resorts to dubious means to finance his campaign, confiscating the estate of John of Gaunt (Bolingbroke's dead father). Bolingbroke gathers an invasion force to reclaim his lands. The Duke of York, left as regent without money or an army, goes to meet Bolingbroke. Fearing Richard is dead in Ireland, his supporters fall away; Richard begins to suffer bouts of depression and, when he hears York has joined Bolingbroke, surrenders to his fate. Despite warnings of civil war, Bolingbroke accepts the crown from the imprisoned Richard and banishes the queen to France. Believing the new king wants Richard dead, Sir Pierce of Exton murders him. He is rebuked by Bolingbroke when he arrives at the court with the coffin, and Bolingbroke (now Henry IV) resolves to go on a Crusade to atone for the murder.

About Richard II (1367-1400),
King of England (1377-1399), whose reign was marked by national disunity and civil strife.
A younger son of Edward, Prince of Wales (the Black Prince), and Joan, called the Fair Maid of Kent, Richard was born on January 6, 1367, in Bordeaux, France. He was created Prince of Wales in 1376, the year of his father's death, and was placed in the care of his uncle John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster. In 1377, on the death of his grandfather, King Edward III, Richard became ruler of England, then a country devastated by plague and oppressed by heavy taxes, the result of a war with France. Parliament, which had obtained greater power in the last years of Edward III's reign, now sought to secure control of the government, but was opposed by John of Gaunt and his followers. The speedy suppression of the Peasants' Revolt in 1381 was largely the result of Richard's courage and daring. A year later, at the age of 15, Richard married Anne of Bohemia, daughter of the Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV, and began to seek the downfall of the great nobles who controlled Parliament and prevented him from acting independently. Led by Richard's uncle Thomas of Woodstock, Duke of Gloucester, in 1388 a coterie of noblemen known in history as the lords appellant “appealed” or accused Richard's adherents of treason, banishing some and having others executed. The following year Richard, with the help of John of Gaunt, succeeded in asserting his authority.
Trying to re-establish English authority in Ireland, Richard led an expedition to the country in 1394; in the same year his queen died. In 1396 a marriage treaty was concluded between Richard and a French princess, Isabella. In 1397 Richard had Gloucester arrested and imprisoned at Calais, where he died, perhaps murdered. He also exiled John of Gaunt's son, Henry Bolingbroke, Duke of Hereford, who later became Richard's successor as Henry IV, and executed or banished others of the lords appellant. On his return from a second military expedition to Ireland in 1399 Richard found that Bolingbroke had returned from exile and placed himself at the head of a formidable army. Richard was captured by Bolingbroke in Wales and brought captive to London, where on September 30, 1399, he formally resigned the crown. On the following day his abdication was ratified by Parliament, which then confirmed Bolingbroke as King Henry IV. Richard was secretly confined in Pontefract Castle, where he either died of starvation or was murdered in February 1400.

It began with the barnstorming 5-1 win over Fulham – Ronaldo and Rooney running the show and very publicly rubbishing claims the two were at odds.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Summary:Azy Ronaldo
Birthdate: 05 Feb 1985 Birthplace: Madeira Position: W inger Appearances: 208 Goals: 64 JoinedUnited: 12 Aug 2003 United Debut: 16 Aug 2003 v Bolton (H) International Portugal Cristiano Ronaldo has just about exhausted all superlatives, except to say that having developed and matured from a young and inexperienced winger when he joined from Sporting Lisbon in 2003, he''s now among the best and most dynamic attacking forces in the world.

Signed as a largely unknown 18-year-old for £12.24m, the story goes that Sir Alex was persuaded to sign him by his players on the plane home from a pre-season friendly against Sporting that summer. In truth, the boss had long been aware of his ability. The urgency to sign him stemmed from interest from other top European clubs. This was a target Sir Alex simply couldn’t let slip through the net.
Ronaldo wasted little time in showing off his sublime skills with a stunning 30-minute debut against Bolton at Old Trafford in August 2003. After 39 appearances and eight goals – including the opener in the FA Cup final win over Millwall – he was named the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year for 2003/04. His second season never quite lived up to his first. But some late season form saw him end the 2004/05 campaign with nine goals in 50 appearances. In 2005/06 Ronny again reserved his best form for the latter half of the season, a clear sign that, despite his undoubted talent, this was a player still honing his talent.
Then came the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany, a truly defining moment. In the quarter finals against England, Cristiano was blamed for Wayne Rooney’s sending off, the scapegoat for England’s exit. Some wondered if he would even return to Manchester. But Sir Alex’s calming words assured him. After all, it’d happened before with Eric Cantona in 1995 and David Beckham in 1998. The best players respond to adversity, and he did just that.
United’s title success was undoubtedly a team effort, but one player was central to almost every major plotline. It began with the barnstorming 5-1 win over Fulham – Ronaldo and Rooney running the show and very publicly rubbishing claims the two were at odds. Dazzling wing-play was backed with regular assists and crucial goals, including seven in five games over Christmas and then a last-gasp winner against Fulham in February.
His form brought renewed interest from Spain, but United’s No.7 signed a new five-year deal until 2012 insisting, “I’m happy here.” In 2006/07 he claimed 14 individual awards and, most crucially, his first Premiership medal. The soundtrack to Cristiano’s campaign may have begun with a chorus of boos, but it ended with cacophonous applause.

kate del castillo in La Reina del Sur

La Reina del Sur: Volumen 1
